IPMA's Oeiras Mar Centre is an infrastructure dedicated to research, monitoring and innovation in the oceanic and atmospheric fields.

It combines scientific, computational and observation capabilities to produce knowledge, develop solutions and support their application in public policies, environmental monitoring and economic activities in the sea. It also contributes to strengthening national participation in international scientific and technological networks.
