DESCRIPTION
SOMESATLÂNTICO is a research infrastructure for ocean observation, designed to aggregate and make available data and information produced by IPMA and other institutions operating within the Atlantic basin. The platform ensures data integrity, long-term preservation and interoperability, in accordance with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable), in line with the best practices established by the European Union, notably those set out in the INSPIRE Directive.
