The Olhão Blue Hub is an infrastructure dedicated to aquaculture, with conditions for carrying out experimental trials with marine organisms in a controlled environment.

The infrastructure combines cultivation rooms, laboratories and support areas for operating systems with live organisms, allowing solutions to be tested with fish, bivalves and other invertebrates. These capacities are relevant to applied research projects, technological development and process validation for the aquaculture sector.

The hub also includes specialised training and consultancy services, supporting companies and technical teams in developing skills and solving challenges related to aquaculture.
